Kevin Johns sums it up well in his article on Northbank Natter. He says:-

'When I left college I went to work as a minister close to Toxteth in Liverpool and as a street worker in the North End of Birkenhead. There I met two kinds of 'law breakers'.

There were those who broke the law to survive and keep their families. Then there were the drug barons - no conscience, no morals, they would sell smack to anyone to make a profit. I lost count of the times that I turned to these men and looked them in the eye and asked, 'How do you sleep at night'?

Now the situation at the Vetch Field is different I accept that, but I find myself asking that same question to all who are involved, 'How do you sleep at night?'

So how could this have happened? They have tried to make money for themselves out of a club that is in dire need of investment, but a lot of our supporters are unemployed or don't have that much money to spend and in reality Lewis & Petty have tried to take from the people of Swansea, they have put our club very near to extinction! How can they sleep at night or look at themselves in the mirror in the morning?

Justice will one day come to them and I hope they are haunted by the Jack Army singing Petty out chants. They might as well have broken into our homes and stole the money from us because that's what they have been doing in their own way.

The new consortium will not be out to make a profit, our survival for many years to come is going to be hard, so why can't they realise just how low they've gone and do one good thing - hand the club to the people who care!!!
