So Boundy might be leaving.

At the start of this mess our players were united in saying that they will stick together and see it through, they said that they would not be pushed out.

Now Boundy has had enough and it is a sad one, here are some of the things he has said:-

"I was just called into the office, told about Oxford's interest and basically that it would be happening.

"I spoke to the Oxford manager and he wants to take a look at me. If everything goes well in that month then I could end up staying there,"

"a move does appeal to me because things are so bad here at the moment. I'm probably better off leaving the Swans."

"At Swansea we're always worried that we're not going to get paid. OK, we've been paid the last couple of months although last month's wages were late going in.

"But there's no guarantee we're going to get paid this month. I'm not getting any younger and I'm too old to be messed around every month.

"To be honest, the club's a bit of joke at the moment, but these are the circumstances and hopefully it will sort itself out.

"It's been one thing after the other. Just when you think you've jumped one hurdle another is put in front of you. It's hard to deal with, especially for the younger players.

"If the problems off the pitch had blown over, fair enough. But they've not blown over and it's hard for the players to get their minds on football.

"To blame our recent performances on Tony Petty (Swansea chairman) would not be right. But when a club messes you about it can cause a bit of resentment.

"A move to Oxford could be a life-line for me and it would be nice to play in a stable environment, but I don't want to be seen to be leaving the other players in the lurch," he added.

"We've been through thick and thin together and we always stick up for one another - but at the end of the day players have to think about number one."

"If I do end up leaving Swansea then of course I'll be sad. I've got a lot of brilliant memories from my time here and I'm pretty settled in Swansea," he said.

"This year has been an absolute disaster. There was relegation and now all these problems with Tony Petty. A lot of bad things have happened.

"I had no desire to go - I'm settled in Swansea, my girlfriend's from the area, but I suppose this is just part of football.

"Some of the decisions being made by the people 'upstairs' at this football club at the moment aren't logical and the outlook for the future isn't necessarily all that great if people keep leaving."
